The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Specialist assists DME Manager in the daily operations of the DME department. This will include following daily DME schedules as outlined by the DME Principal Manager. The schedules include delivery of supplies to meet the participant’s personal and medical care needs, preventative maintenance, cleaning and repair of DME. The DME Specialist assists with the DME inventory as needed. Promotes optimum health and maximizes independence by assisting in the provision of a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of the frail elderly adult. Exercises judgment based on acquired knowledge of company policy and procedures when performing DME departmental tasks. Participates fully in the Loretto State-of-the-Heart Customer Service Program of courtesy, caring, confidentiality and commitment.
