The Director of Quality and Government Relations is responsible for the Quality Improvement staff. The Director of Quality and Government Relations is self-directed and acts as an effective leader, catalyst for change, and role model for quality practice.   In partnership with the PACE CNY administrative team, the Director will ensure compliance with all regulations and state and federal laws that affect PACE CNY and will be responsible for the implementation of an effective quality plan and assist with the maintenance of the compliance and risk management plan and customer satisfaction program. Performs a wide variety of technical and reporting responsibilities requiring autonomy and independent decision-making skills. Works with Chief Medical Officer, Executive Director and Director of Clinical Operations to identify gaps in quality of care and areas of unwarranted clinical or operational variation, and develop processes for ongoing monitoring, tracking, and reporting of clinical variation efforts. Works with other department heads as needed to engage in system-wide quality improvement, care variation reduction and cost savings efforts to ensure seamless coordinated care to the participant.
